2. Must I bring any identification when I redeem my membership?
Yes, members are required to bring their NRIC or any other valid card with photo identification upon every redemption.
3. How will payment be made?
Subscription will be auto-deducted via credit/debit card
4. After signing up, when will the membership start?

6. Can I really go for nails treatments everyday?
Yes you can but nails treatments are limited to 2 times a day for the safety of customers.
7. Can I freeze my membership?

8. Can I upgrade my membership?
Of course! However, the procedure will be the same as cancellation, which means you have to send an email to email@example.com with at least 30 days prior notice and re-purchase the new membership. Pink Parlour will waive off the $9.90 sign-up fee.
9. When will I be billed?
Members will be billed from the date they purchase the membership and the billing date will be constant unless cancellation is made.
10. Can I change my billing date?
A change of billing date can be done by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with at least 30 days prior notice.
11. How do I cancel?
What happens if I want to re-sign up, do I have to pay the sign-up fee again? Yes, the $9.90 fee will have to be made again.
12. Is it applicable for all the outlets?
The membership can be used across all Pink Parlour outlets in Singapore.
13. Will I receive a receipt for my purchase?
A monthly e-statement is sent to all our members containing the membership details. Please contact us if you do not receive your Pink Parlour e-statement.
14. Can the membership be used all year round?
The membership can be used all year. However, members will be limited to 4 treatments throughout the period of 14 days prior to Chinese New Year. Surcharge of $5 will still be applicable.
There will be a $5 CNY Surcharge per pax from 21st Jan to 26th Jan 2017 for all package and non-package holders. ( Applicable to all phone and walk-in bookings ) CNY Surcharge will be waive if you book & pay online. No sharing of packages, groupon vouchers redemption and any other promotional vouchers or discounts from 16th Jan to 27th Jan 2017. Appointment slots will be reserved for 10 mins and will be release right after and treatment paid will be forfeited. For package holders , treatment will be redeem from the package items under your account for failure to cancel the appointment 15 mins prior to the time booked.
If I have a package , do I have to pay the surcharge if my bookings date is from 21st Jan till 26th Jan 2017 ?
Yes you will pay $5 surcharge in store if you made bookings via phone call or in store. However , we will waive the surcharge if you made the bookings online.
Can I transfer the paid treatment to a friends or family members if I am unable to commit to the appointment date and time ?
Paid treatment is non-transferable.
If I failed to turn up for the paid appointment , can I reschedule or ask for a refund ?
Appointment slots will be reserved for 10 mins and will be release right after and treatment paid will be forfeited and strictly no refund.
Can I share packages during the period of 16th Jan till 27th Jan 2017 ?
You will not be able to share your packages with friends or family members during this period.
If I had redeemed 1 session from the 4 sessions package I bought from Groupon , can I still enjoy the treatment from 16th Jan till 27th Jan and I have made the appointment prior in advance in store / online ?
Groupon package or ala-carte redemption will not be allowed from 16th Jan till 27th Jan 2017.
If I have Watson's , Fitness First's member card or promotion discount codes, can I still enjoy the discounts from 16th Jan till 27th Jan 2017 ?
There will be no acceptance of discounts benefit during this period.
Question: What is Strip Waxing?Strip wax is thinly spread over the desired area. A paper strip is then pressed on the top and ripped off with a quick movement. This removes the wax along with the hair, roots and dead skin cells, leaving the skin smooth and exfoliated.
Question: What is Hot or Hard Waxing?Wax is directly applied to the skin. It hardens when it cooled, allowing the easy removal by the therapist without the aid of strips. This waxing method is very beneficial to people who have sensitive skin as it does not remove or grip the skin. For sensitive areas around the Bikini, it is best to use hot wax as pain is greatly reduced and tearing of the delicate skin is unlikely.
Question: How often do I have to wax?Waxing is a temporary method of hair removal which removes the hair from the root. New hairs will not grow back in the previously waxed area for 1 to 8 weeks. On average, a person waxes every 3 weeks to 8 weeks depending on the body part and how often waxing is done.
Question: Should I trim/shave my hair before I get waxed?No, you should not. The longer the hair, the better the wax will grab it and the smoother your results will be.
Question: What are the advantages of waxing versus shaving?Because waxing removes hair from the roots, the main advantages will be: Hair does not grow back instantly, you will need to wax only once a month or once every 2 months on average. The new hair will be softer and finer. Each time the hair is waxed, the folicle gets damaged, which also explains why some hair may stop growing after repeated waxing. Skin is smooth to the touch as opposed to stubby sensation from shaving.
Question: I currently shave, how long does the hair have to be before I can wax?It depends on the kind of wax used by your therapist, on average, a good quality wax can grip short and fine hair as short as 3mm to 5mm. However, do bear in mind that if shaving is done about 1 to 2 weeks before waxing, some of the hair may not have grown out during your treatment, and stubbles may start appearing almost immediately. These are from your shaving, not to be mistaken as quick regrowths from the waxing.
Question: How do I minimise or reduce the pain of Brazilian waxing? Will taking a pain killer help?There are a few things you can look out for when deciding on a Brazilian wax treatment to ensure minimal pain. Experience of the therapist is vital. The level of pain that you experience depends on the skill of the therapist. An experienced therapist will know how big a portion to wax, where to place the wax, the best pull and how to stretch the skin giving you minimal pain with every rip. Choose a place which uses HOT wax (either completely or on the delicate areas). Hot wax grips only the hair without tugging the skin. Pain is also reduced as you only feel the pain from the hair roots and not the pain of the skin being pulled as is the case with strip waxes. Book your waxing appointment about a week before or after menstruation, your skin is least tender and sensitive during these periods. Do not wait too long in between waxing sessions. We recommend waxing every 4 to 6 weeks for the minimal pain. The finer hair roots will mean faster and less painful waxing by the next waxing session. Other advantages you will notice is that the skin colour gets evened up and lightened within 2 weeks of application. There have been claims that taking a pain killer or aspirin an hour before helps to reduce the pain, but so far, there has not been any testimonials to prove this works. But it is definitely worth a try if you are fearful. Numbing sprays tend to work only on the surface of the skin. Thus it works better if you are waxing with strip wax – where the surface of the skin is being pulled. If your therapist is using HOT wax, these sprays may not be of much help. But for the fearful, this may be an option.
Question: Is it true that I can get injuries and tear with Brazilian waxing?Tearing of the delicate vulva area only happens if strip wax is used on the same spot for more than 3 times, or if the therapist is inexperienced and negligent. With HOT waxes, this is highly unlikely, as skin is not pulled by the wax.
Question: Will I be sore and unable to walk normally afterwards?No, you will be walking as per normal. Brazilian waxing causes only instantaneous pain the moment the wax is being pulled. The pain will not linger on especially if hot wax is used. You should not experience any soar or discomfort thereafter. Some redness may occur with people with sensitivity or very thick hair, but this should go away after a few hours.
Question: Will waxing cause ingrown hair? How do I prevent it?This depends on the individual. Compared to shaving, waxing reduces ingrown hair significantly. Ingrown hair can be prevented by regular exfoliation, starting from 3 days after waxing. There are also ingrown hair serums that will help to significantly reduce ingrown hair. Question: Anything I need to keep in mind when doing my boyzilian?Firstly we require your NRIC or passport for security purposes. You will also need to wash both the front and back as we remove all hair. During the procedure the therapist will provide you instructional feedback on how to hold yourself. Question: What is the difference between other hair removal technologies and Alpha Light technology?All LT hair removal technologies effectively damages the hair follicles by using light, allowing heat transfer to the roots to stop hair growth. The way that the light and heat is delivered into the skin differs with the different technologies in the market. Alpha Light technology delivers energy deeper into the follicles. Question: I have very blond hair, will this technology work?No, this technology works best on hair with coloured pigments and melanin. For people with very light coloured hair, it is difficult for the hair to absorb any heat which is required to disable the hair follicles. This will work if you have dark brown or medium brown hair, but not blond.
Question: I have very dark skin, will I be a suitable candidate?We recommend against any form of LT hair removal if you have very dark skin. We have treated many clients with medium skin tones with much success but we do not take the risk if you have very dark skin that cannot differentiate the colour of your hair and skin. As this technology uses light and heat to detect the darker hair, it will be difficult to selectively treat hair without burning the skin as dark skin absorbs much of the heat without reflecting.
Question: Do you guarantee results? What if I am not able to achieve the desired results?Pink Parlour prides ourselves in honesty and integrity when we conduct our business. Your results are our main obsession and we want to see you hair free as much as you want to be hair free. Pink Parlour can give assurance that you will see your hair being treated, meaning, hair fall will occur usually a week to 3 weeks after each session. If you feel in any way that your treatment has not been effective, simply drop us a note and we will ensure you will be looked after. Question: How do I prepare myself before Pink Parlour's Spray Tan ?Our Sunless Spray Tan uses a spray application of Sunless tanning solution to your body. When applied, DHA (the active ingredient in Sunless tanning solution) reacts with the proteins in your skin’s superficial layer to form a golden brown colour. You will notice that your skin will begin to darken 2 – 3 hours after your appointment and it will reach its peak colour within 24 hours.
Question: How do I prepare myself before Pink Parlour’s Spray Tan?Prepare your skin for the Spray Tan a week ahead by exfoliating and moisturising your skin well. A well moisturised skin will ensure a longer lasting tan. For best result, you may purchase our Skin Prep – Exfoliator from our Pink Parlour eShop. Exfoliate and moisturise well a day before your spray tan appointment. On the day of appointment, come with clean skin without oils, creams, deodorant or moisturisers.
Question: Do I need to wear sunscreen after Pink Parlour’s Spray Tan?Yes, we highly recommend all our customers to always wear sunscreen when out in the sun. The spray tan solution does not have any SPF properties.
Question: Should I wax/shave before or after Spray Tan?You should wax/shave 1 to 2 days prior to your Spray Tan appointment, and DO NOT wax/shave after your Spray Tan. Once you have your Spray Tan done, anything that will exfoliate your skin (e.g. waxing or shaving) will remove the colour.
Question: Will my skin be patchy once the Tan fade out?This depends widely on the skin condition of each individual. In general, spray tans fade naturally like a regular sun tan. However, for a person who didn’t exfoliate before receiving the spray tan, there is a higher chance of patchiness. This is also true if a person has very dry and flaky skin. To be safe, go with a colour that is 1 to 2 tones deeper than your skin as a very dark colour will also mean fading will be more obvious. Daily application of Collagen & Vitamin Enriched Moisturiser from our Pink Parlour eShop will extend the Tan and prevent patchiness during fading. After 7 days, you may gently exfoliate to remove any remaining Tan colour and apply after care.

Question: Are there any specific shower instructions I need to follow after my Spray Tan?Wait at least 6 – 12 hours before you shower to give the DHA time to fully react with skin proteins. Try to use a non-abrasive skin wash so that the Tan is not stripped away by the chemicals in your soap or shower gels. We highly recommend using a pH neutral soap. During shower, you will notice the Tan being washed away, leaving you with tanned any glowing skin underneath. Do note the Tan will still continue to develop even after your shower for the next 24 hours.
Question: How long should I wait after Pink Parlour’s Spray Tan before swimming in the ocean, pool or hot tub?We recommend at least 48 hours after your Spray Tan appointment before going into the ocean, pool or hot tub, as chlorine and salt water will accelerate fading.
Question: What should I wear to Pink Parlour for the Spray Tan?You will be given a disposable hair net and g-string for the spray tan. However, you may also bring your own swim wear or choose to go full monty for no tanlines. To minimise the chance of Tan staining on clothing, we recommend loose clothing and dark coloured clothing after your Spray Tan. Our Spray Tan solution is water-soluble, if it stains gets onto the clothes, immediately send it for wash in the washing machine as soon as possible.
Question: Can I apply make-up, deodorant, lotions or perfumes prior to treatment?It is advisable not to have any of the above as a clean bare skin is ideal for the Spray Tan. Pink Parlour also offer shower facilities at your convenience. It is also recommended to bring your own make-up remover or facial cleanser.
Question: What is the difference between 2-hour and 6-hour Spray Tan?The difference is in the solution setting and in both solution, colour will begin to appear on your skin only after 6 hours regardless of which solution you choose. Our 2-hour Spray Tan solution keeps on developing even after washing off within the first 2 hours. It is ideal for busy people who require a hassle free last minute tan. To achieve a darker tan, you may want to leave the tan on for a longer time. If you are going to an event or party 2 to 4 hours after the treatment, do not shower, leave the bronzer on your skin for that brilliant shine. Our classic 6-hour Spray Tan solution, is great for leaving on overnight and is safe to be washed off after 6 – 8 hours.
Question: Will I turn orange after my Spray Tan?Not at all! Our Spray Tan solutions are formulated to give you a natural, just off the beach colour. However, high pH levels in the skin can sometimes results in what many people refer to as an ‘orange’ colouring. To prevent this from happening, use a pH balanced cleanser after your Spray Tan to control the level of pH levels in your skin.

I missed to cancel my appointment, will there be a charge?Yes, Failure to do so will be deemed a missed appointment and, therefore, you will be liable to a “No Show” charge. For package holders who do not show up, a session of the treatment scheduled will be deducted from the existing package of the customer. For non-package holders, after we have received 3 repeatedly of no-show, customer will be required to pre-pay for their booking upon confirmation within 24 hours.
